Over the last several months, I’ve been on a relentless nonfiction bender. I devoured this fascinating book by Stephen King on the craft of writing, this book by a Japanese novelist and marathoner about running and writing, this page turner by a neurosurgeon whose personal near death experience defied what he knew to be true about the brain and this book by Malcolm Gladwell about what makes successful people successful. I’m only one chapter into An Everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler and I’m already eager to share with you what I’ve learned in just 17 short pages. [click to continue…]
