In many ways, this is the perfect breakfast. It delivers plenty of vitamins, fiber, calcium and protein. These smoothies are sweetened naturally by the fruit and just a touch of honey. My kids go bananas when I announce that we’re making smoothies for breakfast. For them, I like to add a slice of whole grain toast with almond butter to include a bit of healthy fat in the meal.
